Summer was here and gone before we all knew it.
We were blessed to have two beautiful baby girls our family. Tricia gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She is Lucy Jane and is a doll. She has blue eyes, tons of dark hair and looks just like her beautiful big sister. She is loved dearly by all of us. She has two big brothers and a big sister who can't get enough of her. Wow, she is gorgeous.
Polli also was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. She is Haeley Katerina and she is a doll too. She also has blue eyes and some white hair. She is loved dearly by all of us too. She has a big sister who thinks her baby is wonderful too. She is a beauty too.
We are blessed to have the 12 most beautiful and perfect grandchildren ever born. We will be blessed again in February, (on my birthday) with a beautiful baby boy! Julia is expecting her first baby and we are all thrilled for her and Dustin.
Speaking of birthdays, Julia celebrated her birthday (birthmonth) in September. I am way behind, but we love her so much. She was born on square root day. I may have mentioned that in years past. Her birthday is the square root of 81. Yep, 9/9/81. Julia has brought much joy and happiness into our lives. She met the man of her dreams and they now are living happily ever after. I know you had a happy birthmonth (birthday). We love and cherish you now and forever.

Dad and I went to conference on Easter Sunday. It was nice to be in the conference center to watch the big screen. Our seats were in the balcony which made the speaker look like a speck in the front of the beautiful center. I looked down and thought, "I was down there just a couple of weeks ago. I touched the podium! WOW. We were there cleaning and I vacumned the very front...right in front of the podium in fact.
This was on an earlier post but I think it needs to be a post all by itself.
As a family we were saddened by the passing of Mary. She fought a battle with cancer. She left this earthly home and returned to her heavenly home last Saturday, March 20th. She is now free from pain and agony of this terrible disease. She passed the test here on Earth and is now home preparing German Chocolate Brownies and Eclairs with Grandma Robison. We love you and we will miss you Mary.

I have been blessed with the most wonderful children in the world. They all came to dinner for my birthday. We met at Famous Dave's. It was very good. We had a marvelous time. Polli and Katee baked me a cake. My girls planned a girls' trip to New York.
As soon as parent conferences ended on March 4th, we all boarded an airplane for NYC. We had a wonderful trip. Thank you for such never forgetting memories. Wow.
We arrived in NY early Friday morning. WE immediately hit the streets. We started out on Wall Street and saw the financial district and the memorial site of 9-11. We found a delicious deli and had a yummy lunch. Before going back to the hotel (Thank you Sean) for a much needed nap, we found Canal Street and had some fun bidding with the locals for scarves, hats and Tiffany jewelry. We woke up and literally ran to the theatre when Wicked is performed. Julia won the raffle and she and I were able to see Wicked. We had front row seats. It was wonderful. Tricia and Cyndi had already see Wicked so they bought tickets for a another Broadway show. They enjoyed it. We met afterwards and caught a cab and went to Serindipity for a dessert. Before the show, we ate authenic NY pizza from Ray's Pizza. Mmmmmm. It was an exciting day and one that I will forever remember.
We went to Macy's 8 floor store. We hit the shoe department and spend a couple of hours there. We found a H & M Store and the girls were delighted. We went on Staten Island Ferry and saw the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the ferry. Wish we had more time and we could have visited them up close and personal. We did go to the top of the Empire State Building. It was a long way up but the view from the top was out of this world.
We went to the Museum of Natural History. Again, I wish we had more time to spend going from exhibit to exhibit. The girls were able to guide me through the subways. They were just like the Trax except in a tunnel. I prefer the Trax so I can see where we are going.
We walked through Central Park. It was not quite what I had pictured of Central Park. I expected it to be more like Liberty Park....rectangle. Everything was beautiful. I was so impressed with the people in New York. They were all so nice and tried so hard to be helpful. There was a man in the subway that was physically handicapped who took time to show us the way we needed to go to catch the right subway train. I felt bad he had to climb extra steps to show us.
We went to the Manhatten Temple. It was closed for cleaning and we were dissapointed that there was not a visitor center. We did go upstairs to the church. It was a complete chapel on the third floor. I felt like I was in a chapel here at home.
We visitied Times Square, the site of the Good Day Show (we were not up early enough to go), Grand Central Station, Broadway, Park Avenue, the Hershey Store, the M & M Store, and numerous other stores. We had a busy weekend and it was great.
I want to thank my girls for such a memory. I can't believe we were able to go and do so much. I cannot express how much I love all of you. Thank you. Maybe I will be able to get dad there someday. I want to take him to Palmyra. Who knows, maybe I can sneak in NYC. Thank you and I love you/

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNDI
Another year and it is Cyndi's birthday. I again want to express how proud we are of her, how much we love her, and how much she means to us and her extended family as well as her own family. She is a beautiful lady, a great wife, a teriffic mom, (Just ask her kids!) and a loving daughter.
I love the time we are together. I love going to lunch at the park with the kids in the summer or slipping away to the Olive Garden. I love holidays and Sunday dinners when everyone is together. Cyndi is the one who makes us all laugh and we all have fun.
I love Cyndi's dedication to helping others. She is there to pitch in and help. She was there to help Julia clean her new house preparing it for Julia and Dustin to move in. She was there to help make eclairs for Grandma Robison's funeral, she was there to help when I had flowers to plant and weeds to pull for the wedding in my yard last summer. Everyone can count on Cyndi. I remember her stopping her car to help some poor little ducks cross a busy street. As I said, "everyone can count on Cyndi."
I love how she spends time with her kids helping them with homework...math, reading, diorama's on her birthday. She is always there!
We love you Cyndi for reasons beyond knowing. We love you for choosing us in Heaven. We love you!

I have great kids and I love them eternally. Each of them are special to Gary and me. There are no greater kids in the world and we are so blessed to be their parents.
My girls have a huge treat for me and I am really excited about it. It is for my birthday even though I don't celebrate it anymore. But this is one birthday treat that I am looking forward to. It will have to be a surprise for everyone else!
